Both Andrew and Cassie were watching Terry instead of looking into the camera. Trying to get Terry to look into the camera and getting Mom to smile is pretty difficult. I have to just accept what I manage to get.

TEA

Picture was taken at the Daughters of the King Tea on Saturday, May 3rd. It didn't turn out very good but wanted to share it with the family members.

I played around with the camera today. Mom lets me use her for my model. One of the best ones I took. Still need to do better - a lot better...

UPDATE ON GRANDMA

Well, Mom got her first manicure and pedicure today. It was a new experience for her. I meant to take some pictures but had some shopping to take care of so I managed to get that done while she was being pampered. I think we might have to do that again in another month or so.

Took her to the Pulmonary doctor today. All her vitals are good, oxygen level 97. The doctor had her walk up and down the hall a number of times while checking her oxygen level and her pulse rate. The oxygen level remained at 97 and her pulse rate rose only 3 points. He says SHE NEEDS TO WALK. Now to get her to do that will be another chore.

Tomorrow, the 29th, Terry and Abigail will celebrated their 6th birthdays.

After a Day of Turkey Hunting

Larry spent the morning on Saturday turkey hunting. He got wet. He will be camping in Buckingham County for the next few days trying to get that spring gobbler. What a person will do just to HARVEST a turkey !!!!!!

SUNSET

Stopped the car and shot this picture (from in the middle of the road) Sunday evening on the way to church. My picture doesn't actually do the sunset justice. It was just so beautiful.

POPPER PARTY

Walter had surgery today to remove one of his screws in his leg since the bone wasn't knitting and he was still in a lot of pain. The surgery went well, so now its just wait and see. After surgery, he and Judy came out for supper and Walt is spending the night. Danielle came from Lynchburg to spend some time with him. They took over my kitchen and made jalapeno poppers. Too spicy for me but Larry liked them. Mom wouldn't try them at all since she was tired and heading off to bed. They had a really good time and even left a clean kitchen. Glad to see the three of them having fun.

ICICLES

We had beautiful, warm weather the first of the week, but this morning we woke to icicles hanging everywhere. That's a sight we don't see too often.

WARM FEBRUARY DAY

Well Spring is definitely on its way. The tree are budding, flowers have really popped up and will be in bloom before long. The sky was beautiful today. I couldn't resist taking pictures of the clouds and then tonight the moon is fantastic against the black sky. Had to try my hand at it.

Tonight at church we had a very special speaker. Governor Mike Huckabee (Republican running for candidate for President)to speak about the Lord. He was there to preach and that's exactly what he did.

I tried taking pictures, but was too far back and really need to have used a tri-pod. This picture isn't very good but I TRIED....
